Sausage stuffing skillet
I made this recipe with half the stuffing and it still tasted too "stuffingy". We had it with oven rolls.

Freezer clearout
We cleared the freezer of odds and ends and ate them for supper - garlic bread, a little Ikea hash, a few Ikea meatballs, a tiny pizza, oven chips, etc.

Toasted sandwiches
Just a casual meal of toasted sandwiches. Feeling very stressed this week and haven't been on top of things at home, like meal planning.

Bits and bobs
Toasties, pasta with pesto, egg on toast again. Grant is at work and we've had a busy day plus I desperately need to do a grocery shop.

Paninis
We've been wanting to replace our snackwicher and buy a new one to ship over to NZ. I spent some time looking at reviews on the Argos website and we decided to get the Cookworks Signature Panini Press instead. Lucky for us Grant got £30 in Argos vouchers from work at Christmas time so it didn't even cost us anything.
So we used our new panini press to make paninis (cheese and ham, cheese and onion) and toasted sandwiches (cheese and beans) for supper. We had peppermint crisp dessert for pudding as it's my no-count day and I had to make it to photograph for my e-book.

Goat's cheese chicken
Grant and I had chicken breasts stuffed with goat's cheese, topped with tomato slices and roasted, served with green beans and microwaved potato. The boys ate earlier and since I knew they wouldn't eat what we had, I did cheese and bean snackwiches for Daniel and pesto pasta for Noah.

Tomato and Basil pasta
Got this great recipe from a cook book for a basic red sauce which is good for lasagne, bolognaise etc and I just use it for a simple pasta sauce when we feel like no meat. Tonight we're having it with fresh baked garlic rolls and salad.
